Telephone Consultation
New clients start with a complimentary 20 min telephone consultation. While everyone has their own personal reasons for beginning therapy, it is often because we feel lost, are facing a problem or need to make a change. Our virtual collaboration with Psychotherapy Matters enables your therapist to work collaboratively with you, your primary care physician, and a psychiatrist. Appointments with a psychiatrist can be booked after your second psychotherapy session. You will get a referral form to give to your family doctor. Once the family doctor has faxed the referral form to Psychotherapy Matters, your therapist can book your appointment!
Short-term Counselling
Short-term counselling is a focused, goal-oriented approach to therapy that typically involves a limited number of sessions - often between 3 to 5. It's designed to help individuals address specific challenges, such as coping with stress, or navigating life transitions. By concentrating on immediate concerns, short-term counselling offers practical strategies and emotional support to create meaningful change in a relatively brief timeframe.
